Last day, I experienced the worst day in my lifetime. Everything went wrong and horrible for me from the moment I stepped up from my house till I reached Bangalore. I will list out series of incidents which made me to publish this post. After enjoying the superb long weekend in Chennai with friends, I packed up my things to go for work in Bangalore.

       *	I started at 8.30 PM (Sunday) from my house. It was slightly drizzling and I somehow managed to catch mofussil bus before rain starts. Later rain got heavy and I fully drenched in rain after getting down in CMBT.

       * I was wearing shorts so it didn’t get wet completely (My Goodness, I didn’t wear Jeans). I was happy Since jeans is hard to get dry once it gets wet. Then I boarded my bus (SETC, 10 PM). The bus started in time, but it took almost 1 hr 30 min to come out of the CMBT. There was a huge traffic in the bus stand itself. Traffic in Chennai really sucks.

       *	Around 2 PM, I suddenly woke up due to massive sound which came from outside. The bus suffered flat tyre. One of the back side tyre got punctured and the bus doesn’t have any spare to fix it.

       *	Driver slowly moved the bus so that he can drop us at nearby junction (Krishnagiri, which is 15KM away from the spot). After 15 minutes, other tyre also got punctured that left us in no mans land.

       *	We almost stood in the high way (freaking cold out their) for an hour to board some bus. No one stopped their vehicle. That time, I felt bad for wearing shorts. At times, I didn’t feel my balls [:P]. Because my eyes were begging me to get some sleep. Seriously I went mad about that situation.

       *	Then one local bus (TNSTC) showed some mercy on us and few of us boarded it. Conductor came to me and asked to get the ticket. I showed him my old ticket which was signed by SETC conductor. He replied me that it’s invalid in TNSTC, you got to travel only in SETC buses with this ticket for free. Then we fought with him and as the result we were forcibly pushed down at Krishnagiri bus stop.

       *	Then again I waited for 30 minutes to catch a bus and bought ticket for 50Rs to Bangalore. Finally I reached the destination around 7.30 AM. I didn’t sleep for continuous three days (Friday- Played poker, Saturday- movie and Sunday- flat tyre).

It won’t get worse than this. With the heavy eye and exhausted body i went to work in time. This is the end of my sad story. But still wondering, what to wear in Rainy season? Shorts or Jeans?

Each and every person has their own superstitions during exam period. In this post, I am going to reveal my old superstitions which I had done in my exam time. Here it goes

• While preparing for my exams, I used to set particular time limit for finishing a chapter. Usually it will be rounded off value like 2 to 4 hours depends upon the criticality of the chapter (I can’t extend this time limit, since I always do last minute preparation). If I failed to finish it in stipulated deadline, I won’t do well in that particular chapter. That’s my instinct.
• After finishing a chapter, I used to relax my mind for few minutes. In this time, I try some unusual things to predict the verdict of my exam. Like,

         * Throwing stones at nearby lamp post. If I hit the damn post for continuous three times. I win (I will do great in exam). Only ten chances allowed.
* Throwing tennis ball against the wall fiercely and try to catch it as much as possible (number of continuous catches will differ according to difficulty of the exam).
* At evening time, I try to kill mosquitoes (again the number depends upon the exam). Then I do more stuffs, but couldn’t able to recollect all those.

• I used to wear same shirt and dress if I did the previous exam well. I won’t allow my mom to even wash that set of clothes till my sem completes.
• I used to take same path to reach the bus stop.
• And I never left my house without my mom’s blessing. She is my lucky charm and I always ask her to say “BEST OF LUCK” before leaving for exam.
• I place my bag in a particular spot before going to exam hall.
• Then at last, I use only fountain pen for writing my exams.

I am very much amused to publish this post. By recollecting all these stuffs, I couldn’t believe that I did these things. You know what? I turned as ATHEIST now. Anyway I feel better by pen downed my old sweet memories. If you have any exam time superstitions, feel free to write those in comment section. Let us enjoy the nostalgic moments.

Last week, I went to Team Outing to Elim Resort which is situated 25Kms away from Bangalore. This outing was full of fun right from the beginning.

Fun #1:

Earlier, a poll was conducted to decide the destination for outing. The poll was between river rafting and the resort. Majority of the people voted for river rafting except Naveen, Maha and of course me. But PM (Proj Manager) finalized Resort citing few reasons.
*	Since the company didn’t provide money for this outing, we individually sponsored ourselves and initiated this event. River rafting costs much compared to Resort. This was the prime reason for avoiding river rafting.
*	Climate (Rainy) is not suitable to go for river rafting and
*	River rafting spot is too far away from Bangalore
So considering these flaws, PM finalized resort despite being voted by majority of the team members. I hope we will go for river rafting next time.

Then on the D-day, we all assembled in the office and moved on to the resort. We landed Elim Resort around 9.30 Am. We started off the day with traditional Tiffin items (Idly, Dosa and Vada with Getty chutiney)

Fun #2:

After finishing breakfast, we stepped off to the cricket ground. We 14 split into two teams and I opened the innings together with PM. The funny part here is that I smashed a six on leg side of the very first ball I faced. Thanks to Vaibho for the wonderful juicy ball. I think this is my second six in my cricketing career. I don’t remember when I hit that first six, may be in box cricket. My friends will realize how funny this is. At the end, I was in the losing side as usual.

After that we played volley ball. Again, I ended up in the losing side. Then we’ve pulled ourselves together to get ready for the chicken time. We really had delicious chicken Dum Briyani, fish and chicken gravy up to our neck.

Fun #3:

After having heavy lunch, we headed towards swimming pool. They should not name it as swimming pool, it looked like big size baby tub of 4 feet depth. Nevertheless, I dived in that baby tub and stood there for a while and played with fellow team members with ball like kids. Then we had a nice time in rain dance.

Fun #4:

At last, we all went to disco room. The stage was already fully occupied by some other gang. Yet my seniors started dancing on the floor in front of the mini bar. Initially the songs played by DJ were not at all familiar to me. Suddenly, he played one track similar to Retro Kamal Hassan song. Without my knowledge, I started moving my legs to the tune and again the crowd recognized me as a dancer (Innuma enna indha ooru nambitu iruku). Then we danced to series of songs and we had a nice time there. I personally felt that the Disco was the best part of the day. Initially a lot of people refrained from the dance-floor but eventually most of them ended up on it. It was nice to see people coming out of their shells and join us.

In the mean time, I clicked few snaps in my new camera. Above all, we all enjoyed a lot and enhanced team bonding. Especially me, after a long time (Bloody fracture) I played cricket and danced too. I had a wonderful time and am enthusiastically waiting for the next party .

Still I remember how my parents lead me to achieve a sophisticated position in my life. As I am growing older and older, I started experiencing the pain, responsibility, care and the challenges that they faced while raising us up. Now this is our turn to take up the commanding role and make our parents happier for rest of their life.

Recently I took my parents to Theme Park (Queen’s Land) in Chennai. This is the first time they are visiting an Amusement park. They really enjoyed there so much. My dad went crazy and started trying all the risky rides due to the adrenalin rush. He forget the fact that he is old enough to not to try these rides. In spite of my warnings he tried a game called horse dancing which is very hard for the old age people. At the very beginning itself, he slipped from the dancing horse and finds himself in a most awkward predicament. Then I pleaded the instructor to stop the ride. Later he started responding to my words and I did the same to my mom. Suddenly I remembered my childhood days where I was in full control of my parents. Now the scenario is just opposite to that. This incident made to realize the meaning of LIFE CYCLE. Now I feel more responsible and have plenty of roles to play. Though it is new to me, I enjoy doing it.

So friends, think of it for few seconds. Make your parents happier by spending time with them, take them out for vacation, respect them, give money to them for their daily expenses and share your success with them (definitely not your failures). So guys ponder about this situation and take good decision readily before it gets too late. I hope you got my point.

Hi pals! As I said before, I have taken my recent hobby (photography) seriously and started experimenting with the pictures. In this post, I wanted to show few pics which I took around 10 PM in Bangalore.

I clicked this pic with the slow shutter speed (60 secs), ISO 1600 and with the narrow aperture. I set my WB as cloudy and got this output.

In this pic, I turned the dark night into the day. The composition of this pic is Shutter speed (10 secs), ISO 800 and narrow aperture.

I finish this post with these two pics. I will continue doing experiments and publish those things here in near future. I hope you all like this stuff.

PS: No post processing done in these pics apart from adding edges and watermark.

Hobbies are nothing but the activities that we do in our leisure time to get some relaxation. Everyone will be having their own hobbies to keep themselves engaged. Some will even turn the hobbies into their careers. In my case, I am having loads and loads of hobbies. I keep on changing my hobbies as the day progresses. I can list few of my hobbies which I enjoyed doing it right from my childhood to till date. The list goes like this…

• Watching TV (common to everyone)
• Playing Cricket (INDIAN)
• Pencil sketching (I love doing it)
• Stamp/coin collection (got bored later)
• Dancing (My num 1 hobby, unfortunately I cant do it now)
• Stage shows (running out of opportunities)
• Blogging ( Earned a bit)
• Photography (my new venture)

I wish that I could stop adding to my collection of hobbies and interests. I have far too many things I do, and therefore cannot do any of them exceptionally well. I reckon I am the perfect example for the saying “Jack of all trades, master of none”. I want to break this thing. So I decided to take my photography interest to next level. I started this hobby with the compact camera. Since it has limited camera options, I decided to get bridge camera. I wish I will take this hobby seriously and I do this through out my life.

And now I will introduce my brand new third eye to everyone. Here it is…

We always remember and praise the sacrifice of our mother and the role she played in our lives. But we often forget the fact that our father too played the equal role in shaping up our lives. I think its nature that most of the fathers are less expressive than moms and often reserved because of their work tension.

In my childhood, since my dad was the only source of income, I had to ask him for everything. But I never asked him directly. In turn, I always tortured my mom to request him on behalf of myself. I was so afraid of him. I still remember how I was jealous on few of my friends (Baji, Ramesh and Kudi) to get such a friendly father. But that’s in my teenage. Now, I can understand the part he played in my life.

I can realize how hard it is to get the ground and construct building in Madras. I can realize how hard it is to educate three of his children in well esteemed institution. Now all three of us (me, my brother and sister) are well placed and leading the sophisticated life. Next week, he is retiring from his job and I am very proud about him.
In this post, I just want to list down few of his good habits and ideas which I already adopted in my life to do wonders.

* He never tasted alcohol and tobacco.
* He never get loan for anything. He always do some sort of savings and accordingly he will run the family. (my mom helps him a lot in this case)
* He never hesitate to attend relative’s function irrespective of distance and climate

Negatives:
* He is too short tempered person and reserved
* He never took us for outing

I finish my post by stating this quote. “Rarely does a child express love and affection to his/her father. While saying ‘love you’ or ‘thank you’ to a mother is easy, articulating the same to a father is difficult”. So let’s give the same respect and love as we do for mom and make him happy.

Hi folks! In past, I have published some funny and personal posts in this same blog. But today I feel extremely honored and proud to publish this post. MOTHER’S DAY is the most special occasions in the life of a person. Mommy is the very first word that every child in the planet says when he/she learns to speak. In one’s life, the place that mother hold can never be taken over by anyone else. Mother is the most precious gift for every one of us.

I am really blessed to get even sweeter mom. When I was a kid, she was my angel. When I was a teenager, she was my best friend. And now, she is my best secret- sharer. She has been playing different kind of roles in my life to make my life brighter and smoother. She showed me love when I needed it the most, she supported me when I failed in my life, and she has been the shoulder to cry when I had a break up. Still she is doing the same without any repayment. She taught me how to dance, I became a dancer. She taught me how to face the audience, I performed N number of stage shows in different places. She taught me the basics in studies, I became software engineer. Just check out my old post which proves her love towards me. Lovely, isn’t it?

She sacrificed a lot in her life to make my life fruitful. In turn, I did nothing to her. I feel damn guilty when I think about this. I know her love is unconditional, but this is the right time to reciprocate the same. Let’s make this mother’s day so special and make her happy. Being an atheist, I too worship a god. That’s none other than my MOM.
I LOVE YOU MOM. Love you so much. HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY.

Everyone will be having friends but it’s too difficult to maintain their friendship for longer period. Very few people are blessed to have true friends, who stay together in both ups and down of our lives. Fortunately, I am blessed to have couple of true friends. They are none other than my childhood friends. Usually childhood friends will grow into long lasting friendship since they are neighbors, like-minded people, mutual understanding and undeterred trust.

Last week, I went to Ooty with my childhood friends and enjoyed to the core. We explored some private areas of KUNDA which is under the control of EB. We got the special permission from them and rocked there. We covered maximum area of Nilgiri Hills (Upper Bhavani Dam, Lambs Rock, Sims Park, Dolphin Nose, Khodai Naadu, Khothagiri, Doddabetta, Botanical Garden, Pine forest, shooting spot, Golf spot, Boat house and Pykara falls) within the stipulated time. We even went for jungle safari in late evening. Mainly we had nice time there and remembered few nostalgic moments.

Since we are staying in different geographical location, we decided to go for tour (REUNION) at least once in a year. Most probably, next time we will go to Goa or Malaysia.

This is the post I want to publish right from the day 1 since I got this blog. There is hell lot of advantages of being a girl in all the aspects. Many girls will not accept this fact. Even my mom nodded her head negatively to this thing. While discussing with my mom regarding this issue, she quoted number of incidents that happened in her life to make me wrong. But the examples she quoted were out of date. Today many things changes and favors women. Through this post, I will list out few points which explain everything.

• First I start off with variety of dresses they got to showcase their beauty. Even they are wearing men’s only attire [JEANS]
• In metro trains, though they have special compartments they can also come and ride in the general compartments.
• Then they have the advantage of scoring high marks in school and college. Everyone will accept this point unanimously. Staff (mainly Gents) will award them full marks in internals and practicals irrespective of their performances.
• Then they can easily clear the interview during placements when compare to poor boys.
• Then after stepping into office, they are enjoying their life without any fear about tests and deadline by having the superb alternate option, MARRIAGE.
• After marriage, they are happily spending their life by seeing serials and giving commands to their hubbies.

I agree to the fact that all the girls are not gifted as I said in the above statements. Still girls in the rural areas are in the back foot and I really want them to excel in their life. I am dedicating this post to all the poor boys like me who are really fighting hard to come up in their life.

NOTE: This post is not intended to hurt the feelings and believes of others. If anyone feels like that, please forgive your sweet friend. [:D] Take it lightly and drop your suggestions in the comment section. Love you all.
