Are you a nature lover?

Do you want to relax your mind a bit to overcome all your stress?

Then you should visit Pulicat Lake (second largest saline lake in India) which is 65 KM away from Chennai.

Being a nature lover, I never tired to explore the places which contain scenic beauty. Last week, suddenly I planned a trip to Pulicat Lake along with my friends. We hired a boat there and enjoyed sailing in the big lake. After sailing for an hour, we found one island covered with full of white sand. Then we had lunch in the island, took bath, did swimming and had loads of fun. Bird sanctuary is also there in Pulicat where you can find different varieties of birds from several countries.

Route to Pulicat Lake:

Catch the Sulrpet train from Chennai Central station and get down at Aarampaakam. Pulicat Lake is just 3 KM away from their.

The ideal season to check out this place is between October and January. In the summer season, you can witness only mud and rock. You can also go for waterfalls situated in Tada which is nearby Aarampaakam. So what are you waiting for? Plan accordingly and enjoy the nature.
